Terms of Service
Version 2026-10-01
These terms are a draft for the LegitFlash service run by TrustID OÜ. They complete the general terms of the platform.
Service
LegitFlash lets a business ask its applicants to prove their identity through a hosted flow, with automatic technical checks and human review, and receive the result by dashboard, API, webhook or embedded widget.
What the service is not
The Client does not use LegitFlash for onboarding regulated by anti-money-laundering law (for example banks, payment and e-money institutions, crypto-asset providers, insurers, gambling operators, securities firms, or notaries and other obliged legal professionals), nor for purposes that need an eIDAS trust service, a qualified signature or video identification approved by a regulator. LegitFlash does not issue qualified certificates and its result is not a legally binding digital identity.
We may refuse or suspend accounts in these sectors or uses.
Client responsibilities
The Client is the controller of its applicants' data: it chooses the legal basis and the purpose, publishes a privacy policy, requests only the steps it needs, and answers its applicants' requests. The Data Processing Agreement must be accepted before live verifications start.
Data protection
The Data Processing Agreement governs our processing as processor. Our own processing of account data is described in the Privacy Policy.
Prices and billing
Plans include a number of verifications per month; extra verifications are billed as set in the dashboard. Taxes, renewal, cancellation and the right of withdrawal follow the general terms of the platform.
Liability
[Liability caps, availability commitments and governing law: to be confirmed by the lawyer.]
